Travis Head was the hero for Australia in the World Cup 2023 Final against India on 19th of November, and here again, in the T20 World Cup 2024 against Men In Blue, he brought out his best and slammed Indian bowlers all over the park. 

Australia lost David Warner early in their run-chase, but Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh started counter-attack and took on each and every Indian bowler. However, there was one six that Head hit against Hardik Pandya that caught a lot of attention.

It was the first ball of the sixth over and Hardik bowled it full on off and middle. Travis Head just stood tall and just showed the full face of his bat as he launched it straight down the ground with great timing and disdain.

Mitchell Marsh at the other end, also supported Head nicely and scored 37 off 28 balls, before Kuldeep Yadav got the better of him. The wrist spinner also got the big wicket of Glenn Maxwell later, and brought India back in the game. Earlier, Rohit Sharma showed his class in the first innings with 92 off just 41 balls and played a big part in India posting a massive total on the board.
