Tim Seifert's outrageous jump to grab onto a catch of Chris Jordan in the 5th BBL 2024-25 match between Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Renegades left everyone on their toes. Seifert's flying attempt to remove the batter for a golden duck reminded fans of legendary MS Dhoni.

The Hurricanes, already having a horrid day with the bat, lost another crucial wicket as Chris Jordan walked back and laughed. Following the Kiwi's flying tradition in recent times, Siefert, too, followed, and immediately after grabbing onto the catch, he went on a celebratory run along with Fergus O'Neill, who picked a three-wicket haul in this over.

In the fifth over, Fergus O'Neill bowled a good-length delivery down the leg. Jordan looked to flick it to the leg, but he got a tickle on it, and Tim Seifert made an absolutely stunning catch. He dived to his left and effortlessly grabbed onto the blinder.

Hobart Hurricanes Slam Their Lowest Total In BBL

Hobart Hurricanes were bowled out for their lowest-ever BBL total, managing just 74 runs against Melbourne Renegades in Geelong. The Renegades, who won the toss and chose to bowl, were led by a stellar performance from their pacers. Tom Rogers (3/25) started the destruction with a near hat-trick, while Fergus O'Neill (3/16) took three wickets in an over. Will Sutherland (3/14) was the other destructor leaving the Hurricanes in shambles.

Except for skipper Nathan Ellis, who scored 35 in a desperate attempt, all others made nothing of significance to the score. Four were left stranded without even reaching the pavilion. Adam Zampa (1/7) concluded the innings, as the Hurricanes were bowled out for only 74 in 12.4 overs.

At the time of writing, Renegades are at 67/3.
