The Legends League Cricket's second season is gaining much more attention than the previous one. Well, when people get to see players like Jaques Kallis, Chris Gayle, and many others, the league doesn't need to do anything extra for attention and popularity.

Chris Gayle, who doesn't play much competitive cricket now, has participated in the league and is representing the Gujarat Giants. Despite not being in touch for a while, Gayle still remembers how to deposit the balls into the stands without much effort. 

The Universe Boss is known for smashing sixes for fun and is second when it comes to most sixes in international cricket, with 553 maximums. He was at the top but recently, Rohit Sharma with his aggressive display of batting in the World Cup 2023 broke his record and acquired the top spot.

In the ongoing clash between Gujarat Giants and Bhilwara Kings, the Universe Boss smashed the delivery of Sidebottom for a boundary over the covers. In the process of hitting the ball hard, Gayle went on to break his bat, but the ball still raced away to the boundary. He smashed 24 runs in that over of Sidebottom with the help of two sixes and three boundaries. 

Gayle also completed his first half-century of the tournament but got out scoring 52 off 27 against Rahul Sharma. Rahul Sharma will be very happy to get him as he wasn't being smashed by Gayle like he was in the IPL's historic clash between Pune and Bangalore. 

Even in the first game, Gayle smashed 38 but could not convert it into a big score. With three more matches left, he will be looking to break some more bats and records.
