Team India could have a fairy tale ending to the World Cup 2023, but destiny had different plans for them as the only game they lost was the final of the tournament. Kirti Azad, who was a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team, lashes out at PM Narendra Modi, who went inside the dressing room to meet the players and console them.

In the final of the World Cup 2023, things didn't go India's way as the mighty Australians defeated them by seven wickets to seal their sixth World Cup title. Despite having a near-perfect tournament, winning matches on the trot including the semifinal, the defeat in the final will haunt Rohit Sharma and his men for a long time.

Kirti Azad, who is a part of the Trinamool Congress and a former Indian cricketer, calls the Prime Minister of India a 'Panauti' and blames him for team India's defeat in the final of the World Cup 2023.

Here's the latest tweet of Kirti Azad on PM Modi:

Kirti Azad, in his latest tweet, wrote about PM Modi breaking the sanctum sanctorum of the team and also wrote that he should have met the team on the ground. He also gave an example saying that what if his supporters come inside his room to console or congratulate him?

The former cricketer also lashes out at the BCCI for not inviting the 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev for the final of the World Cup 2023 as all other winning captains were invited, saying that who is doing the politics now.

The banter between opposition parties and BJP has always been there and the politicians often use these kinds of things to get into each other's skins.
