West Indies cricket legend Chris Gayle, despite being away from international cricket, continues to defy age and enthral fans with his extraordinary batting prowess. In a recent Legends League Cricket 2023 match in Ranchi, Gayle showcased his vintage form, leaving spectators in awe.

The standout moment occurred in the sixth over when, facing a free hit from Colin de Grandhomme, Gayle executed a breathtaking pull shot, launching a powerful one-handed six deep into the field. The stadium erupted in applause for this display of skill. Despite Gayle's exceptional innings, Gujarat Giants fell short, and Manipal Tigers secured a 10-run victory.

Chris Gayle's One-Handed Stunner:

Opening for Gujarat Giants against Manipal Tigers, Gayle delivered a stellar performance, scoring over 158 runs with a striking rate exceeding 158. In a mere 24 balls, he smashed 7 fours and 1 six, dominating the bowlers with his trademark one-handed sixes.

Known for his six-hitting prowess in the IPL and international cricket, Gayle, at 44 years old, continues to captivate audiences. While he hasn't officially announced retirement, he expressed in June his ongoing passion for the game.

Although it's been a while since his last international T20 match in November 2021, Gayle remains active in tournaments like the Legends Leagues, proving that age is just a number for the cricket maestro.
