Sunil Narine is known for calm and composed persona but in KKR's first game of IPL 2024 against SRH, he did show emotions when he managed to get an important wicket of Rahul Tripathi in the 13th over.

Tripathi was actually dropped by Varun Chakravarthy off the bowling of Sunil Narine and that did create some frustration for Sunil Narine which was brought out after he got the wicket of SRH's number 3. Tripathi scored 20 off 20 balls and could not get going in his usual fluent self.

Talking about the ball that got rid of Tripathi, it was a tossed up delivery on off. The right-handed batter went for the big sweep shot. He got a big top edge and the ball went high in the air towards deep square leg where Harshit Rana took a safe catch.

SRH are chasing 209 after a blistering end to KKR's knock courtesy of Andre Russell special. SRH did start well, but kept losing wickets at regular intervals as SRH batters failed to convert their starts into a big score.

This IPL 2024 is an important one for Rahul Tripathi who lost his place in the Indian T20I after a poor IPL 2023. Now, with T20 World Cup around the corner, he would be itching to deliver big and stake his claim for that T20 World Cup spot.
