The ongoing edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League Is In Full Swing. On Saturday, November 23, the Bangla Tigers locked horns against the New York Strikers at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Bangla Tigers, batting first, had a terrible outing as the Shakib Al Hasan-led side put just 66 runs on the board. Pacers Mohammad Amir and Reece Topley took two wickets each, while Sunil Narine hogged the headlines for his peach of a delivery to get rid of Dasun Shanaka.

Narine's Magic Ball Leaves Shanaka Stunned

Narine got rid of Shanaka, who scored 22 (19), the most by a Bangla Tiger batter in today's game. On the 3rd ball of the 8th over, Narine bowled a fuller delivery pitched outside off, and as Shanaka extended his front foot to hit a sweep, the ball spun into the wickets and rattled his stumps, leaving Shanaka stunned.


New York Strikers Seal The Win

However, Narine's efforts went in vain as New York emerged victorious by seven wickets. Donovan Ferreira was the star with the bat and scored 21 (9), which featured three fours and a solitary six. 

It is worth noting that Narine has been retained by KKR ahead of IPL 2025. Talking about the Abu Dhabi T10 league, BGT are second last on the table with no wins. Further, New York Strikers registered their first win of the tournament and are placed fifth on the table.
