The IPL 2025 Auction is just around the corner, and there are plenty of big names up for grabs in the mega event. Two of them are Jos Buttler and Faf du Plessis, both were brilliant in the last cycle for RR and RCB respectively, but were still released, so they are likely to be in high demand with plenty of franchises expected to show interest.

Jos Buttler Displays Consistency With Power

The two have shown good form as well in the recent past. Jos Buttler made a long awaited comeback against West Indies and delivered some impactful performances at number 3. He is now showing his might in Abu Dhabi T10 where he has hit two consecutive fifties. In the first game, he hit 62 off just 24 balls while in the second match, he hammered 60 of just 22 balls. So, he is looking in his prime form and RR might regret not retaining him ahead of the mega auction.

Faf Du Plessis Going Strong At 40 Ahead Of IPL Auction

Faf du Plessis is also batting beautifully and led Saint Lucia Kings to a CPL title win few months back. He has now started Abu Dhabi T10 with a bang as well, smashing 75 off just 32 balls. So, he has also put his hat in the ring, and despite his age, their could be franchises that might want to grab him. Also, RCB can use RTM for Faf du Plessis as he was quite consistent for them and led with great distinction.

So, both players are in form and we can expect them to fetch some good bucks when the auction starts on 24th of November at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
