The fast paced action of the format is keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats and the matches are coming by thick and fast. In the fourth match of the tournament, the Northern Warriors were up against the Delhi Bulls.

Brandon King's Effort Led To Adam Lyth's Demise

The Warriors won the toss and put the Bulls to bat. Adam Lyth, opener of the Delhi Bulls looked in fine touch as he gave the team a flying start with a blazing 25 off 10 balls. His knock was decorated by two boundaries and two sixes. Just when the opener was looking dangerous a fielding brilliance by the West Indian batter, Brandon King result in his demise. 

On the third delivery of the sixth over, Uzair Khan bowled a slower and fullish delivery outside the off stump. Lyth covers his stumps and swung across the line of the ball. He got a top edge that was sailing away over the fine leg fence. However, Brandon King stationed in the deep took a sensational catch. He timed his jump to perfection kept the ball in play and then came to grab the ball. The catch reminded the fans of the sensational effort by Suryakumar Yadav in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 final. 

Johnson Charles Blasted The Opposition

Speaking of the match, the Delhi Bulls posted 109/6 in their 10 overs. In the chase, Johnson Charles played a dazzling knock of 54 runs off 23 deliveries and made light work of the target. The effort by the West Indian batter saw his team home by seven wickets with an over remaining in the game.
