No one can be more graceful than Ellyse Perry and Smriti Mandhana when it comes to women’s cricket, particularly at present. 

The duo were in utter delight when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pulled off a memorable five-run win over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the WPL 2024 Eliminator in Delhi.

Coming to defend a below-par 135, RCB were always on the backfoot. However, they did not give up, courtesy of an excellent captaincy from Mandhana and a never-say-die attitude from Perry, which kept their side active more often than not.

And they reaped rewards later on, and no wonder, emotions were running through their veins once the result was done and dusted.

Among many highlights, Mandhana was seen in tears after a thumping result. Perry, who played a crucial role in the encounter with both bat and ball, came straight to her with joy before giving her a tight hug to celebrate the moment.

RCB, courtesy of a spirited bowling performance, will next be in action on Sunday at the same venue. However, the opposition will be the home side Delhi Capitals, led by none other than the Australian great Meg Lanning.
