On a day when Suryakumar Yadav smacked his fourth T20I century, India's wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma found a rare kind of dismissal to get dismissed. Playing as a keeper in the lower middle-order batter, the Vidarbha-born got out in the final over of the match after hitting a boundary in his knock of run-ball 4 runs.

While trying to get another boundary to his tally, Jitesh made an uncanny mistake off Lizaad Williams' bowling. To a very full delivery, the right-handed batter got deep in his crease to loft it over the inner circle. Fortunately, he did get the desired elevation over the mid-off but he stepped onto the stumps during the process.

As a result, Williams got another wicket to his name, while Jitesh Sharma got hit-wicket out.

Despite Jitesh's dismissal, India got to a commendable total of 201/7, thanks to captain Suryakumar's astonishing ton and remarkable 60-run knock by Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Meanwhile, the South African are already leading in this three-match T20I series, in which the first fixture got called off due to rain. As a result, the Men in Blue would need to win the third and final T20I to level the series.
