Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been the centre of attraction since the time he was grabbed by Rajasthan Royals for 1.10 Crore in IPL 2025 mega auction. The young kid is a powerful hitter of the cricket ball which he showed in the U19 Asia Cup recently and has now started making his name at the senior level too.

He is currently playing Vijay Hazare Trophy for Bihar and after three cheap scores, smashed 71 off 42 balls against Baroda on the final day of 2024 to notch up his maiden List A fifty. It was a powerful knock against some experienced players and one of them was Krunal Pandya who has played for India and has been a star performer in domestic cricket and IPL for a long time.

During the knock of 71 off just 42 balls, Vaibhav hit four towering sixes along with eight fours and he did not spare even Krunal Pandya. The 13-year-old left-hander smashed Krunal Pandya over deep mid-wicket with great power and swag, using the angle of left armer to great effect.

Vaibhav could not get his team over the line as Bihar fell short by 36 runs in their run-chase of 278. However, there were enough signs that the kid will be a future superstar and can destroy best of the bowlers when he is in full flow. Vaibhav Suryavanshi will play his first IPL season in 2025 and would get a chance to work alongside the likes of Rahul Dravid, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal which is expected to help him grow further as a cricketer.
