During the 39th match of BPL 2024 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium this afternoon, Chattogram Challengers faced off against the Khulna Tigers. 

Winning the toss, Chattogram opted to bat, a decision that paid dividends as they set a formidable target of 192/4 in their 20 overs. The hero of the Challengers' innings was Tanzid Hasan, who blazed his way to a remarkable 119 runs, laced with an impressive array of boundaries and sixes.

However, amidst the stellar performances, Romario Shepherd's jaw-dropping catch stole the limelight. Against the in-form Khulna Tigers captain, Anamul Haque, Shepherd showcased his extraordinary fielding skills.

On the first ball of the 9th over by Shohidul Islam, Haque attempted to flick a full ball towards the leg side but ended up getting a top edge. The ball soared into the air and looked like a difficult catch near the boundary rope. Despite the potential for collision among fielders, Shepherd embarked on an astonishing sprint backwards, covering nearly 30 yards.
