After hitting his fifth T20I century and registering a 3-0 series win over Afghanistan in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, Rohit Sharma was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Thursday.

The Indian captain didn’t have a great outing in the first two T20Is of the three-match series. In the first game, he, unfortunately, got run out for a duck. Fazalhaq Farooqui rattled his stumps on the very first ball he faced in the second game.

However, the Hitman went on to notch his fifth T20I ton on Thursday, playing a sensational knock of 121 runs in just 69 balls, including 11 fours and 8 sixes. The Indian captain reached back home on Thursday as he was spotted at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport.

In a video posted by entertainment journalist Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Rohit Sharma was seen donning a rainbow-colored hoody paired with black track pants and white shoes. Rohit accessorized his look with glasses and a red cap.

With his match-winning knock against Afghanistan in the third T20I, Rohit Sharma also became the first batsman in world cricket to hit five centuries in T20Is. In 151 T20 internationals, he has managed to score 3974 runs at an average of 31.79.

India clean sweep Afghanistan 3-0 in T20I series

Heading into the third T20I on Wednesday, India had taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and looked to register their third consecutive win in the series.

However, Rohit Sharma and Co. found themselves in deep trouble, having lost the first four wickets for just 22 runs on the board. Rinku Singh then joined hands with skipper Rohit Sharma and the duo led the team's recovery.

They played with caution for some time before switching into the top gear in the latter half of the innings. Both the batters stayed right till the end and put on a match-winning partnership of 190 runs.

India put on a massive total of 212 runs on the board at the end of the first innings. Afghanistan too batted exceedingly well and the match ended in a super over. Much to everyone’s delight, the super-over also got tied but India, eventually, won it in the second super-over.
