The last hope for the Pakistan team, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, was left frustrated after his bizarre dismissal during the 2nd PAK vs AUS Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Pat Cummins unleashed a short delivery at Rizwan, who got all mixed up trying to dodge, but the ball climbed, touched his right arm, and ended up in the hands of wicket-keeper Alex Carey.

The Australian captain and Carey and their teammates went wild appealing, but the on-field umpire, Michael Gough, wasn't convinced and gave him 'not out', prompting Australia to call for a review.

Rizwan was adamant the ball only grazed his forearm, but in the replay, the UltraEdge showed a massive spike near the sweatband on his right glove. The third umpire was totally convinced and asked the on-field umpire, Michael Gough, to reverse his decision.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan batter was left baffled and furious after the third umpire overturned the decision of his on-field counterpart. He was the last hope for Pakistan and when he bit the dust, Pakistan was at 219 for 6. After that, Australia quickly wrapped up Pakistan's tail, bundling them out for 237 and winning the game by 79 runs.

Meanwhile, the Aussie speedster Cummins is on a roll, achieving success wherever he steps. Adding another feather to his cap, he has now notched up 250 Test wickets in the longest format, with Mohammed Rizwan becoming his historic 250th victim.

And that's not the end of it – Pat Cummins, in a stellar performance, bagged a five-wicket haul by sending Aamer Jamal back for a duck. Closing the final innings with an outstanding 5/49, Cummins steered Australia to another resounding series win.
