On day 3 of the 2nd Test, Australia humiliated India by registering a 10-wicket win to level the series 1-1. Before the start of play on day 3, the visitors were already in a poor situation as India trailed by 29 runs with five wickets in hand. 

Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy were at the crease, and eyes were on the southpaw to do some magic as he loves playing against Australia in Australia. However, Pant failed to do anything with the bat and departed early. Nonetheless, a video has been going viral on the internet before the start of play, where Pant caught Australia legend Adam Gilchrist by surprise.

In the viral clip, Pant had a 'Peek-A-boo moment' where he put his hands on Gilchrist's eyes from behind and shared a light moment with the Australian legend. Here is the clip. 

India vs Australia 2nd Test Summary

Pant registered a rare double failure in the 2nd Test as he amassed just 21 in the first innings and got out for 28 (31) in the second innings. Overall, India, batting first, tumbled for just 180 and managed to cut off the trail by the barest of margins in the 2nd innings after they collapsed for 175. Australia had a simple task and required to chase 19 runs. 

The defeat has dented India's hopes to qualify for WTC finals as they have now slipped to the 3rd position in the standing and need to win all the three remaining matches to see them through to the finals. The next Test will be held in Gabba in Brisbane from December 14.
