Rishabh Pant's helicopter vs SL (X.com)
Rishabh Pant brought out a helicopter -- a shot that was a bread-and-butter hit for his idol MS Dhoni -- on Saturday when India faced Sri Lanka in the first T20I of the three-match series in Pallekele.
Sri Lanka's Asitha Fernando was at the receiving end, and it came during the 16th over of India's innings.
It was a full-toss delivery by Fernando, and Pant showed no mercy to it. His wristwork then took all the limelight, as it went over deep mid-wicket for an effortless six.

Notably, Pant had a slowish start against Sri Lanka, and with that shot, he shifted his gear. At the time of writing, Pant is batting on 41* off 30 balls, while Rinku Singh is on 1* off 1 ball.
India, meanwhile, are 193/5 after 18.3 overs. They got the start after blistering start from Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Suryakumar Yadav kept the momentum going with some wonderful hitting in his full-time T20I captaincy debut.
After the T20Is, India and Sri Lanka will have a three-match ODI series, where Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return to join the Gautam Gambhir-led new think tank.
