They say revenge is sweet, and that is true in the case of Matt Henry as his side takes on Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup game. 

The New Zealand pacer almost got rid off Ibrahim Zadran early in the innings, however, Finn Allen dropped a dolly and gave a second lifeline to the Afghan opener, which frustrated Henry, who bowled his heart out.

The Kiwi pacer came back strongly and finally managed to dismiss Zadran in his second spell, as the redemption was completed. Henry bowled a short of a length ball outside the off as Zadran failed to get it away and got an inside-edge that shattered his stumps. He looked in disbelief as a big score was on the cards for the talented opener.

Henry takes revenge!

Zadran played a scratchy innings, and was eventually knocked over for a pain-staking 41-ball 44.

One brought the downfall of another as Azmatullah Omarzai followed his teammate back to the pavilion. The middle-order batter played a cameo, but Henry once again was the chief destroyer, getting his crucial wicket.

At the moment, Afghanistan are 149/3 after 18.4 overs and need to finish on a high. New Zealand bat deep and they'll fancy chasing it down.
