Anuj Rawat, the young wicketkeeper batter from Delhi has slammed a magnificent century in the 20th match of DPL 2024. 

Rawat who plays for RCB in IPL has been in good form in this inaugural edition of Delhi Premier League, and after scoring a fifty against Central Delhi in the last game, he has taken his game a notch higher against Purani Dilli-6 by batting right through the innings, and ending with 121 off just 66 balls.

Anuj Rawat started his knock on a conservative note and scored his fifty in 38 balls. However, he picked up the pace brilliantly after his fifty and took just 21 balls to score next 50 runs. He ended up with hitting 11 sixes in his knock which shows the kind of power-hitting that he displayed at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday.

The East Delhi Rider batter got to his century with a couple of runs on the second ball of the 19th over and hammered two consecutive sixes just after getting to his century.

However, it was not just an Anuj Rawat show, the other opener Sujal Singh also matched shot-to-shot with his partner and he too scored 108 off just 57 balls as East Delhi Riders did not lose a single wicket in their 20 overs. They ended with the score of 241 and it is the second-highest opening partnership in the history of T20s.
