Young opener Sujal Singh showcased his incredible batting attributes in East Delhi's ongoing DPL 2024 clash against Purani Dilli-6 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The swashbuckling southpaw came out with all guns blazing, hammering the Purani Dilli bowlers to all parts of the ground. 

Although he smashed several glorious shots, his huge six off Lalit Yadav grabbed the limelight, as it was struck with immense power. 

The incident occurred during the third over of East Delhi Riders' innings when Purani Dilli skipper Arpit Rana brought Lalit Yadav into the attack. 

As the off-spinner had conceded only three runs off his first over, he was expected to keep the East Delhi openers quiet. 

However, contrary to expectations, Lalit had a forgettable time with the ball, as Sujal Singh hammered him for two humongous sixes, helping his side collect 14 precious runs off his over. 

After starting his over with a dot ball, Lalit was sent over the deep midwicket fence for a six. Although he rectified himself and bowled three good balls, the Delhi Capitals all-rounder had a poor finish to the over, with Sujal dispatching his short ball into the square leg stands for another maximum.
