Pakistan Cricket Board has raised some serious concerns over Ihsanullah's sincerity in the management of his elbow injury. The fast bowler got injured a year ago, and since then his recovery process has created quite a few questions with rehabilitation taking more time that initially expected.

In a report by PTI, a reliable PCB source has revealed that the board is not happy with Ihsanullah contradicting his own father's demand. Recently, Ihsanullah's father requested PCB officials to continue pacer's recovery process in NCA, rather than in his home ground in Swat.

However, soon after that request Ihsanullah stated that he is comfortable with his recovery in his hometown and there is no need to shift to NCA. The board official mentioned that they doubts over the fast bowler's commitment to the rehab process which has been specially designed by experts after PCB sent him to UK for an appointment with a specialist.

“The board officials are worried with the sincerity and hard work Ihsan is putting into his rehab program which was designed for him by experts after he was sent to the UK for an appointment with a specialist."

A source also mentioned that the fitness Tests are due for Champions Cup domestic event and with Ihsanullah's fitness still a mystery, members of Pakistan board have raised some serious concerns.

“But with fitness tests to be held before the Champions Cup domestic event there is growing concern over whether Ihsanullah himself is taking his rehab process seriously."

Ihsanullah first grabbed limelight during PSL last year and was soon selected in Pakistan's white-ball squads. He also played one ODI and four T20Is from march to April 2023, but has been laid low by injury since then.

His recovery saga has also been pretty controversial as PCB's head of medical panel, Dr. Sohail Saleem had to resign for mishandling his case.
