India's talismanic batter Virat Kohli showcased his incredible fielding attributes as he took a sharp catch to help his former RCB teammate Mohammed Siraj bag his first wicket in the second innings of the ongoing Test match at Perth Stadium. After posting a mammoth total in their second innings, the visitors got two early breakthroughs, with stand-in captain Bumrah and his bowling partner Siraj oozing their class with the ball.

After Bumrah trapped McSweeney plumb in front of the stumps, Mohammed Siraj got rid of Pat Cummins to send Australia on the back foot. The Australian captain entered the middle as the night watchman, but couldn't make an impact, as the right-arm pacer got him out cheaply.

The incident occurred during the fourth over of Australia's second innings when India had already bagged their first wicket.

From over the wicket, Mohammed Siraj bowled a good-length delivery around the off stump, inducing a false shot off Cummins' bat. The bowling all-rounder played a defensive shot only to get himself caught by Kohli in the slip cordon.

India Wreak Havoc In Australian Camp As Bumrah Runs Riot

Soon after Siraj got rid of Cummins, Bumrah jolted Australia with another massive setback, dismissing Marnus Labuschagne for three runs. The hosts have lost three wickets and are on the verge of a humiliating Test defeat on home soil. At stumps on day 1, Australia were reeling at 12 for three, with Usman Khawaja unbeaten on three runs.
