The highly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction is all set to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The BCCI has finalised the list of 577 players who will be available for bidding.
The 577 players on the list include 367 Indian players, 206 overseas players, and 4 players from associate teams. This year's auction stands out due to the inclusion of a large number of uncapped players, with 319 Indian uncapped players and 12 overseas uncapped players. There is also an increased purse for each franchise, with an additional Rs 20 Crore allocated, making this auction one of the most financially significant in IPL history.
However, not all teams will have the full purse available, as several franchises have already utilised a substantial portion of their funds for player retention. So ahead of mega auction, let's take a look at the list of players for IPL Auction 2025.
As expected, several high-profile cricketers have made it to the marquee players' list for the auction. Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul are among the biggest names to feature in the first set of marquee players, which will be up for bidding on Day 1 of the auction.
Also featured in the marquee list are Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj, among others.
