In the ongoing Duleep Trophy game between India A and India B at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Yash Dayal showcased his exceptional skill and precision as he executed a beautiful slog sweep maximum off Kuldeep Yadav.

His shot resembled Virat Kohli's iconic shot at the picturesque HPCA Dharamsala stadium during the RCB vs. PBKS IPL match in the 2023 edition.

In the 111th over, Kuldeep Yadav bowled and tossed the ball in the arc, pitching closer to the off-stump line. Dayal leaned forward, got down on his knee, and gave it a good swing. The timing was so perfect and accurate that the ball danced to the empty stands over the long-on.

Musheer Khan-Navdeep Saini Stitch Up A Remarkable Partnership

India B folded up their first innings at a solid 321, a recovery of the finest kind from a position that read 94/7 on Day 1. Musheer Khan anchored the innings with an outstanding 181 off 373 balls. It was an important 205-run stand for the 8th wicket with Navdeep Saini, who chipped in with an incisive career-best 56 off 144 deliveries.

Despite the significant contributions by Khan and Saini, only Yashasvi Jaiswal managed 30, while Abhimanyu Easwaran made 13 and Yash Dayal 10 were the only ones who could reach double figures. This was a pretty commendable performance, given the proven Test players in the lineup in Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, and Washington Sundar failed to add significant runs to the board.

On the bowling front, off-spinner Akash Deep was the star for India A, as he snared 4 wickets for 60 runs. Supporting him on the bowling wicket were Khaleel Ahmed with his 2/54, Avesh Khan's 2/59 and Kuldeep Yadav's 1/82. India A captain Shubman Gill used as many as seven bowlers with Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag, and Tanush Kotian not scalping any wickets.

At the time of writing, India A are at 13 with Shubman Gill and Mayank Agarwal.
