Pakistan batting all-rounder Shadab Khan has been having a tough time with the ball, as he revealed during the pre-match interview ahead of the 19th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against India on June 9.

Shadab Khan acknowledged his struggle to take wickets. The 25-year-old is determined to make an impact and deliver a better performance against arch-rivals India.

Here's Shadab Khan said pre-match:

"I have not been taking wickets, and it's a negative sign for my team. I admit it, and I hope I give a better performance today against India," he said.

Shadab Khan scored 40 runs off 25 balls against the USA in their first fixture of the tournament. However, he did not take any wickets, conceding 27 runs in 3 overs. Pakistan lost the match by 3 runs in the super over at Grand Prairie Stadium.

Meanwhile, the toss was halted due to rain. However, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and opted to field against Rohit Sharma and Co. at the Nassau County Stadium, New York.
