Rashid Khan and his charisma on the field is second to none. He has been ruling franchise cricket with his world-class skills for quite a few years now and is Afghanistan's biggest asset in this World Cup 2023. He has been blowing hot and cold with the ball in this World Cup so far but against Australia at Wankhede, has joined the party with the bat, delivering a blistering cameo of 35 off 18 balls.

Rashid Khan came out to bat in the 46th over with Afghanistan at 233-5 in the 46th over. Afghanistan needed some big overs at the death and Rashid Khan decided to take the initiative as he first smashed Maxwell and then Starc in the last over, taking Afghanistan to a healthy total of 291.

His brutal hitting against Starc in the last over was especially impressive as the man fearlessly slammed arguably the best bowler at the death for two unbelievable sixes. Starc's last over went for 16 runs with the first ball going off the outside edge for a boundary towards third man. The third ball was then hammered down the ground with a flat-batted shot, almost mimicking Virat Kohli's iconic shot against Haris Rauf in T20 World Cup 2022.

The fifth ball was again sent into the crowd, this time a outrageous pull shot over deep square as Starc tried a bouncer from 'round the wicket. It was power-hitting at its best and if Afghanistan win this game, Rashid's cameo will be remembered for quite a long time.
