Although it isn't an official English derby in cricket, BH the Dutch will be blazing all guns out to topple an underconfident England side. Let us have a quick look at the Netherlands Predicted XI against England.

Openers: Wesley Barresi and Max O'Dowd

Netherlands may give some more opportunity to Wesley Barresi at the top of the order. He is a good player and one of the oldest in the Oranje. He was also a part of the 2011 Cricket World Cup in the subcontinent. Barresi will be partnered with O'Dowd who scored a smooth forty in the last match against Afghanistan. The opening duo will look to give a good start to the Dutch set-up.

Middle Order: Sybrand Engelbrecht, Scott Edwards

Sybrand Engelbrecht and Scott Edwards have been the two best batters for Netherlands in the World Cup 2023 so far. The former has displayed a couple of amazing fifties so far. He came and scored in situations when the team needed someone to stand up desperately. The skipper has played two fantastic innings in the winning cause against South Africa and Bangladesh. The skipper has been one of the tactically best leaders in the tourney.

All-rounders: Colin Ackermann, Saqib Zulfiqar, Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek and Roelof van der Merwe

The Dutch side possess plenty of good all-rounders in the form of Colin Ackermann, Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek, Roelof van der Merwe and Saqib Zulfiqar. Ackermann did get starts in various matches but failed to convert it into high scores. He amassed a plethora of runs in the English domestic circuit this season. Zulfiqar will be key with his part-time spin.

De Leede and van Beek are pure all-rounders who are equally efficient with both bat and ball in hand. They also have healthy experience in rubbing shoulders with various English players and should find it soothing to battle against them.

Similar is the case for van der Merwe as well. He has bowled some difficult overs and can also be handy with the bat lower down the order. The former South African cricketer will be their primary spinner.

Bowlers: Paul van Meekeren and Aryan Dutt

Paul van Meekeren is the lead pacer of Netherlands. He has the ability to bowl with the new ball but the skipper has generally used him in the second and third powerplay. His height helps him extract extra rear off the surface.

Aryan Dutt has been one of the most economical bowlers for the Dutch in the World Cup. The left-arm spinner can bowl with the new ball inside the powerplay and has been a huge positive for the side.
