Seems like New Zealand have hit the master-stroke with the promotion of Rachin Ravindra at number 3. With Kane Williamson out with an injury, the Kiwis needed someone to take responsibility at the top, and Rachin has done just that.

After scoring a breath-taking World Cup hundred against England in the last match, the talented southpaw showed his mettle against the Netherlands in the ongoing World Dup match in Hyderabad.

Having come out to bat after the dismissal of Devon Conway, Rachin continued from where he left in the last match. On a batting paradise, Rachin continued the good form and made sure he got an aggressive start.

The confidence with which he's batting at the moment, can be seen with a humongous six he hammered to Colin Ackermann. The Dutch spinner bowled a tossed up delivery, as he tried to fox the batter. However, Rachin was up for the task as he danced down the track and smoked the ball way over the long-on fence.

The ball went a million miles as Ackermann got rattled with it. At the moment, New Zealand are cruising comfortably. They have just lost a couple of wickets, and are moving towards a big total.
