Priyansh Arya created history in the 15th game of DPL 2024 between South Delhi Superstarz and Purani Dilli-6 with a magnificent century. He became the first centurion in the history of the tournament as he smashed unbeaten 107 off 55 balls which included nine fours and seven sixes.

South Delhi Superstarz batted first and Priyansh while opening the innings started off slowly while Sarthak Ray got going straightaway. He scored 49 while Ayush Badoni, the skipper smashed 56 off just 20 balls. Priyansh Arya though changed gears swiftly after the Powerplay, with a four and a six in the seventh over.

He eventually got to his fifty in 34 balls and then scored his next fifty in just 19 balls, taking apart Purani Dilli-6 bowlers with great skills and swag. He got to his century in the 19th over with a single towards the leg side and whole Arun Jaitley Stadium was on its feet applauding the talent and the achievement of the man.

South Delhi Superstarz Continue Domination

The knock from the left-hander ensured that South Delhi Superstarz get to the highest-ever score in DPL with 235 on the board, and the Ayush Badoni-led unit has once again shown why they have been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament.
