Express pacer Alzarri Joseph had a stunning outing with the ball in West Indies' ongoing T20 World Cup match against South Africa at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. After dismissing Aiden Markram, Joseph got rid of aggressive batter Heinrich Klaasen, who was taking the game away from the Windies.

The incident occurred during the eighth over of South Africa's innings when Klaasen was powering them towards the revised target of 123 runs with his scintillating stroke play.

West Indies skipper Rovman Powell's decision to bring Joseph paid off, as the experienced speedster got Klaasen's prized wicket through a nasty bouncer.

Bowling the second over of his spell, Joseph had a torrid start, with Tristan Stubbs hitting his first ball for a boundary. However, he made a remarkable comeback, conceding three runs off his next four balls before getting Klaasen to conclude the over.

It was a well-targeted bouncer from Joseph that took Klaasen by surprise. The batter, who has been consistently exploited by the hit-the-deck pacers this World Cup, awkwardly played it as the ball went up in the air.

West Indies' wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran ran backwards and claimed a spectacular catch to ensure his downfall.

Meanwhile, inspite of Joseph's clinical effort, South Africa have pushed West Indies on the verge of a defeat. As of writing, the Proteas were 89 for four, needing 34 runs off 41 deliveries to qualify for the semifinal.
