[Watch] Pooran Uses 'Dhoni Review System' As His DRS Masterstroke Removes Hendricks

Former West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran showcased his awareness behind the stumps as his DRS masterstroke sent Reeza Hendricks packing in his side's high-voltage T20 World Cup clash against South Africa.

The incident occurred during the second over of South Africa's innings after West Indies posted an under-par 135-run total on a tricky Antigua pitch.

After Akeal Hosein was hammered all around the park in his first over, West Indies skipper Rovman Powell handed the ball to his trump card, Andre Russell

The move paid rich dividends as the ace all-rounder got both the Proteas openers in quick succession. He began his onslaught by dismissing Hendricks before his sharp short ball got the better of De Kock, who was in sublime touch.

However, it was a nothing delivery from Russell to get Hendricks. Coming from over the wicket, Russell bowled a poor ball on Hendricks' pads as the batter edged it behind the stumps.

Nicholas Pooran, the Windies wicket-keeper, took a simple catch and appealed for a caught behind.

As the on-field umpire decided in Hendricks' favour, Pooran suggested Windies captain Rovman Powell to go upstairs. His move worked wonders as the TV umpire overturned the on-field decision upon seeing a clear spike in the Ultra Edge.

Meanwhile, the thrilling clash between West Indies and South Africa has been interrupted by rain. As of writing, South Africa were 15 for two in two overs.
