We don’t often see Pat Cummins express his raw emotions on the field, even though his face just before releasing the ball speaks otherwise. However, things were different on Friday when India and Australia were up against each other at Adelaide Oval during the second Test of the five-match series.

Cummins was pumped after getting the wicket of Rishabh Pant, who made a significant impact in Perth during the first Test. Considering the fact that both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, among many others, returned to the pavilion without doing much damage, Pant held the key for India during the Day-Night Test.

However, Cummins did not let the Pant show happen. When the southpaw batted on 21, Cummins bowled a back-of-a-length delivery that bounced sharply. Pant was too slow while playing it, and the 143 kph speed was too much for him. Placed at wide gully, Marnus Labuschagne made no mistake while taking an easy catch.

Cummins was absolutely thrilled, and the reaction of him said it all.

Ashwin, Nitish Reviving India After Early Departures

Meanwhile, India have lost six wickets already without adding much to the scorecard. R Ashwin and Nitish Reddy are on a mission to revive the innings, as the scorebard, at the time of writing, are 128/6. Nitish is batting on 11* while Ashwin is on 10*. They must stay long to put up a respectable total.

It is important to mention that India are 1-0 up in this series, and Australa would be more than eager to level the series with a thumping performance.
