Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh stole the show with a prank that had cricket fans crying with laughter. On Day 1 of the ongoing second Test at the Adelaide Oval, the big all-rounder turned prankster as he caught his mate Usman Khawaja completely off guard with a cheeky gesture.
Usman Khawaja Turned Pink After Mitchell Marsh’s Cheeky Touch
The Aussie team was heading back onto the field after Lunch, all business as usual. But not for Mitch Marsh as he had other plans. He casually sneaked up behind Khawaja and gave him a little tap on the chest before dashing off like a schoolboy pulling a prank on his best friend.
Khawaja didn’t know what hit him. The southpaw looked around, completely stunned, before realizing what had happened. His face said it all. But all Usman Khawaja could do was crack a wry smile. Of course, this moment of Marsh’s mischief went viral on social media in no time.
Team India In A Spot Of Bother
Meanwhile, the actual cricket was a bit of a mess for India. Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal didn’t even get to blink before walking back for a golden duck. KL Rahul and Shubman Gill tried to steady things, adding 69 runs, but Mitchell Starc came in like a wrecking ball.
Starc sent Rahul and Virat Kohli packing in quick succession, leaving fans clutching their heads. Then Scott Boland joined the party, trapping Gill and Rohit LBW.
At 90/5, with Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar Reddy holding the fort, things aren’t looking bright for India against a relentless Aussie pace attack.
