Oman's ace speedster Bilal Khan ensured a great start with the ball for his side as he got rid of Namibian opener Michael van Lingen in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 clash between the two sides. Opening the bowling for Oman, Bilal castled Van Lingen on his second ball to bring smiles back into the Oman camp following a dismal show with the bat.

After bowling a dot ball, Bilal bowled a good-length delivery around the off stump that moved away from the batter. Van Lingen went for a drive only to inside-edge the ball back onto the stumps. Thus, the left-handed opener let his team down, being dismissed for a two-ball duck.

Right after dismissing Van Lingen, Bilal was ecstatic, spreading his arms in the air like Pakistani legend Wasim Akram.

Meanwhile, the experienced Jan Frylinck joined Nikolaas Davin in the middle after Van Lingen's departure. As of writing, the duo were steadying the ship for Namibia with a consolidating stand.

Earlier, Oman's batting unit crumbled against Namibia's rampant all-round attack as they posted a meagre 109-run total. While Khalid Kail scored a hard-fought 34, Zeeshan Maqsood emerged as the second-highest run-getter with a patient 22.
