Ace Namibian all-rounder David Wiese starred with the ball on his maiden appearance in the ongoing T20 World Cup as he ran through Oman's lower order with a magical spell. Before trapping Mehran Khan plumb in front of the stumps, Wiese took a flying catch to dismiss well-set batter Khali Kail.

The incident occurred during the eighteenth over of Oman's innings when they were down on the mat, courtesy of Namibia's incredible bowling effort.

Bowling his third over, Wiese had a disastrous start as Khalid Kail smacked his first ball for a six. However, he made a remarkable comeback, dismissing the batter on the following ball.

It was a full length ball from Wiese as Khalid chipped it in the air. As the ball came straight towards Wiese, the all-rounder showcased commendable athleticism, taking a spectacular forward-diving catch.

After Khalid's departure, Oman fell like a pack of cards, eventually being bowled out for a paltry 109-run total. Ruben Trumpelmann emerged as the wrecker-in-chief for Namibia, recording clinical figures of four for 21 in his fou-over spell.

Apart from the left-arm spinner, Wiese and skipper Gerhard Erasmus were impressive with the ball, sharing five wickets between them.
