The 7th match of T20 World Cup 2024 is turned out to be an interesting affair with Nepal fighting it out with the ball, after posting just 106 while batting first. Nepal took four wickets, and the third of those wickets was of Sybrand Engelbrecht courtesy an unfortunate run out at the non-striker's end.

It was the first delivery of the 14th over and Sompal Kami bowled a length delivery on the middle-stump line. Max O'Dowd pushed it back towards the bowler with soft hands and Sompal Kami on his follow-through dived to stop it. He could only get his finger-tips on the ball though as it crashed the stumps at the non-striker's end.

Unfortunately for Sybrand, he was backing up a bit too much and when the ball hit the stumps at the non-striker's end, he was out of his crease.

It is one of the most unfortunate way to get out in a cricket match, and Sybrand had to walk back disappointed on 14. Max ODowd though kept his cool till the end and took Netherlands over the line in the penultimate over.
