Nepal fans turned up in numbers on Tuesday (June 4) at Dallas' Grand Prairie Stadium to support their team against the Netherlands in Match 7 of the T20 World Cup 2024. And they passion was visible when Abinash Bohara their opposition's skipper Scott Edwards during the 16th over of their innings.

It was a back of a length delivery by Bohara, which Edwards, batting on 5 off 8 balls, tried to cut while making some room. However, the ball got a clear under-edge off Edwards' bat before rattling the stumps. Soon after, Nepalese fans erupted by expressing raw emotions all around the stadium.

In fact, they looked very similar to how English fans rose up to applaud Ben Stokes when he hit the winning runs at Headingley against arch-rivals Australia in 2019.

However, Edwards' wicket was not enough for Nepal, as they had a very little total to defend. The Netherlands, led by Edwards, saw off a 107-run target with ease, getting there with six wickets and 10 balls to spare.
