Naveen-ul-Haq has been the talk of the town since the IPL 2023, mainly because of his feud with Virat Kohli. However, he is a quality bowler and has been successful in T20 franchise leagues all over the world. He has not played much ODI cricket for Afghanistan but he was still preferred in the side for World Cup 2023 because of his quality and now in the 13th match of the tournament, where Afghanistan is taking on England, he has produced an absolute beauty to get rid of Jos Buttler. 

The wicket was a big blow to England and it reduced England to 91-4 in the 18th over as they try to chase down a target of 285 set by Afghanistan.

How was Jos Buttler Bowled?

It was the 18th over of England’s innings and Naveen-ul-Haq after bowling a shortish first delivery of the over to Harry Brook, decided to change his length for England’s skipper, Jos Buttler. He bowled it full and the ball that started around off, came in sharply to find the gap between Jos Buttler’s bat and pad to hit between middle and off pole. Buttler was trying to drive it away but was left high and dry by a peach of a delivery from the Afghan pacer.

At the time of writing, England have lost five wickets and have young duo of Harry Brook and Sam Curran at the crease.
