Rohit Sharma vs Shaheen Afridi is always a battle to watch out for in India-Pakistan games. In the highly anticipated World Cup 2023 clash between two arch-rivals we saw the best of Rohit Sharma as he slammed Pakistan bowlers all over the park. Shaheen Afridi was also on the receiving end and was taken for plenty by not only Rohit Sharma but also other Indian batters. However, Shaheen Afridi did manage to get Rohit Sharma's wicket in the 22nd over of the game with a lovely slower delivery but the game was almost done and dusted till then.

How did Rohit Sharma get out against Shaheen Afridi?

Shaheen Afridi generally bowls around 140 kph but took the pace off drastically in the fourth delivery of the 22nd over. He bowled a fullish delivery, around off, and Rohit Sharma, who tried to drive it, was completely outfoxed. The ball went off the inside half of his blade and landed straight into the hands of Iftikhar Ahmed at mid-wicket.

However, it was the last wicket for Pakistan in the game as Indian hammered them by seven wickets, continuing their dream run against arch-rivals in 50-over World Cups.
