India and Australia are once again locking horns for the ICC U-19 World Cup final match at the Sahara Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa. The game will mark the five time title winners, India take on Australia once again in the final match of the World Cup after a mishap in the ICC men’s ODI World Cup 2023 and the World Test championship final match. 

Australia won the toss and chose to bat first and the lethal Indian bowling attack consistently took wickets to maintain the pressure on the Aussies batting squad. India’s left-arm medium fast bowler Naman Tiwari took 2 quick wickets in a single over to add the pressure on the kangaroos to put up more runs on the board. He went for 15 runs in his first over but made a superb comeback which opened floodgates for India.

Naman dismissed Australia’s opening batsman Harry Dixon and Hugh Weibgen who were nearing their half centuries at a score of 42 and 48 off 56 and 66 balls respectively.

India has remained unbeaten throughout the World Cup and made it to the final match after defeating the host nation South Africa in the semi finals by two wickets. India and Australia didn’t clash throughout the tournament and it will be the first time that the young squad will meet.
