In the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh on Day 4 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Nahid Rana delivered a performance that significantly tilted the match in favour of Bangladesh.

The 21-year-old made an immediate impact with the ball and struck early wickets that left Men in Green in a precarious position.

Nahid Rana Showcases Spectacular Spell

Nahid Rana made headlines with his excellent bowling in the 17th over of Pakistan's second innings when he dismissed the red-ball captain, Shan Masood.

In what was a crucial moment, Rana bowled a delivery slightly back of a length at 144.6 kph, that moved away from the off stump.

Masood, seemed very restless, attempted an unnecessary shot to slice through the off-side. He edged the ball to Litton Das, who made no mistake behind the stumps and grabbed an easy catch.

This wicket was just the start of Pakistan's downfall, Rana didn't stop there. He continued to torment the Pakistani batting lineup and also claimed the prized wickets of Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel.

Pakistan Precarious Position On Day 4

On Day 4 Pakistan's hopes for a solid comeback collapsed as their batting lineup faltered under pressure. Resuming their innings after a shaky end to Day 3, where they had already lost Abdullah Shafique and Khurram Shahzad cheaply, Pakistan needed a strong performance to stabilise their position.

However, the top-order batters, including opener Saim Ayub, failed to rise to the occasion. Ayub, who was expected to anchor the innings, was not able to deliver the stability his team desperately needed.

Bangladesh's bowlers, led by the young sensation Nahid Rana, capitalised on the situation, and Pakistan's batting order crumbled like a pack of cards. At the time of the writing, Pakistan had managed to score 132/6, with Rana's spell playing a crucial role in their downfall.
