KM Asif, who has been with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the past few years, delivered a deadly in-swinger in the ongoing Kerala Cricket League (KCL) match between Calicut Globstars and Aries Kollam Sailors.

Once touted as the future of Indian cricket, KM Asif started his domestic career on the front-foot, and his talent was recognised by MS Dhoni and CSK, who purchased him in 2018. But, the talented bowler has so far, failed to live up to the expectations.

However, he showed glimpses of his brilliance on Tuesday, with a brilliant nip-backer against Calicut Globstars skipper, Rohan Kunnumal in the Kerala Cricket League.

The ball pitched outside the off and nipped back in sharply to hit the middle-stump. The CG skipper, Rohan hardly moved his feet as he looked shell-shocked after the ball beat his inside-edge with ease. The delivery was a perfect example of what the talented bowler can do on his day.

KM Asif was at his absolute best as he ripped through the batting lineup of CG side. After scalping the big fish, Rohan, the speedster also got rid off Salman Nizar and Nikhil M to restrict the opposition to a below-par total.

The right-arm pacer finished with figures of 3 for 31 inside 4 overs as the opposition batters had no clue about his bowling.
