Mohit Sharma started off IPL 2024 on a good note but fell off the radar midway during the season. However, he started the game against CSK quite well with two big wickets of Daryl Mitchell and Moeen Ali. Both the batters were well set and the wicket of Mitchell was taken off a lovely knuckle delivery.

It was the second delivery of the 13th over and Mohit Sharma bowled a slower length delivery on off. It was a 114 KPH knuckle delivery and Mitchell could not spot it. He went for a big slog across the line, but ended up hitting it off the bottom off the blade and Shahrukh Khan at long off took a good running catch.

The wicket of Mitchell broke a counter-attacking stand between Moeen Ali and the Kiwi, and soon Ali also departed to put CSK back on the backfoot in a big run-chase of 232 runs. 

The massive score was posted by GT on the back of tons by Gill and Sudharsan, and GT in this must-win game have really showed the character and skills that was required against a high-quality team like CSK.
