Shubman Gill is one of the most talented young cricketers in world cricket but the man has not been able to live upto his billing in IPL 2024 so far. However, he has started brightly in the 59th match of IPL 2024 against CSK with some lusty blows to start off the innings. 

The six off Simarjeet Singh though in the final over of the Powerplay was especially authorative and it brought a grim on the face of usually calm MS Dhoni too.

It was the fifth delivery of the 6th over and Simarjeet bowled it on a length, around off. Gill stood tall and just powered it over long on with great timing. It was a shot of a man in mission and Gill's onslaught in the Powerplay took GT off to a flier.

Sai Sudharsan, the partner in crime got to his fifty in 32 balls and CSK would have to do a lot of heavy lifting, if they want to restrict Gujarat Titans to a chaseable total.
