On Wednesday, during the final ODI game between India and Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium, the match was electrified as Mohammed Siraj and Kusal Mendis engaged in a fiery exchange.

In the 38th over, Siraj delivered a back-of-a-length ball on the off stump that had a significant impact on the game; Mendis, caught off guard, was forced to react quickly, chopping it past his off stump in front of the keeper, Rishabh Pant. 

Siraj, known for his competitive spirit, moved a little forward toward Mendis and engaged in a verbal spat with him. While the audio wasn't clear, Mendis asked him, 'What, What?', to which Siraj replied, ' Don't talk to me.' The duo proceeded to come closer to one another; however, Siraj turned around and walked away. His intense rivalry with the Sri Lankan team was evident in his every move.

However, as soon as the camera panned to Rohit Sharma, he looked visibly frustrated as India has the bowling line-up failed to get enough breakthroughs for the team. At the time of writing, Sri Lanka are at 198/5 with seven overs still left.
