In the ongoing third ODI between India and Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Indian captain Rohit Sharma burst into laughter as Virat Kohli falsely appealed for a dismissal.

Meanwhile, in the all-important decider in Colombo, former Indian captain Virat Kohli made his successor Rohit Sharma laugh through his unique on-field antics.

Despite Indian bowlers not providing them with breakthroughs, Kohli was as electric as ever, cheering for his teammates with full intensity. 

The aforementioned incident occurred during the 37th over of Sri Lanka's innings when India were struggling to break the third wicket stand between Kusal Mendis and Charith Asalanka. 

After conceding a solitary run off his first two balls, ace Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav bowled a leg break that turned away sharply from Charith Asalanka. 

Although the ball hadn't touched Asalanka's bat, Kohli was excited, as he appealed for a caught behind as soon as Rishabh Pant collected the ball behind the stumps. 

The ex-captain's actions made Rohit laugh, as he expressed his emotions while fielding at the slips. 

Meanwhile, India have managed to scalp three wickets in quick succession, reducing Sri Lanka to 184 for four at the end of 39 overs.
