Glenn Phillips is a dangerous batter and when he gets going, it is pretty hard to stop him. He was in his belligerent mood against Pakistan at M. Chinnaswamy and smashed 41 off 24 balls before getting bowled on 25th ball by a pacy low full toss from Mohammad Wasim Jr. His cameo played a big role in New Zealand crossing the 400-run mark and for Pakistan, Wasim was the only shining light with three wickets in his 10 overs.

The wicket of Phillips came on the penultimate delivery of the 49th over when Mohammad Wasim Jr. bowled a pacy full toss angling around leg. Phillips made room and tried to flick it but missed it as the ball deflects off his pads and knocked over the leg stump. It was the third and final wicket for Wasim Jr. and before Phillips, the right-arm pacer got the big wickets of Rachin Ravindra and Chapman.

All the other Pakistan bowlers were taken for the cleaners with Shaheen Afridi going for 90 runs in his 10 overs. It is a humongous task for Pakistan to chase 402 despite the wicket being pretty flat and let's see how things pan out in the second half.
