Haris Rauf cleaned up Daryl Mitchell on Saturday (November 4) during Pakistan’s do-or-die World Cup clash against New Zealand in Match 35 of the ongoing edition in Bengaluru.

However, the right-arm quick, known for being one of the most extreme fast bowlers, bowled a juicy off-cutter at a slow pace, which Mitchell did not pick before he dragged the ball onto the stumps.

It was a full delivery outside off stump by Rauf, which Mitchell, batting on 29 off just 18 balls, tried to go for a pull. However, the slowness of the delivery got the Kiwi deceived, as the ball hit the inside part of his bat before coming to break the stumps.

It was the first wicket of the day for Rauf, and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam came quickly towards him to congratulate him.

After asking New Zealand to bat, the Men in Green are not having a great time in the middle. As of writing, the Kiwis are 345/5 in 44.4 overs, with Glenn Phillips and Mitchell Santner in the middle, on 15* and 1* respectively.
