'I Get Wickets Due To It' - Nabi Reveals His Secret Plan After Match-Winning Performance

Mohammad Nabi will go down as one of the legends of Afghanistan cricket as he has played a big role in Afghanistan's steady rise in world cricket. He is not done yet and is still going strong in World Cup 2023 and has now produced a match-winning performance against the Dutch, which has given a big boost to Afghan chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

Nabi picked three wickets while giving away just 28 runs along with producing one fantastic run out. Afghanistan eventually knocked over the Netherlands for just 178 and managed to clinch the game by seven wickets.

Talking after the game, Nabi explained that he was just concentrating on line and length and on bowling dot balls. 

 "Yeah. Just focussing on my line and length and focusing on bowling dot balls. Sometimes the batters rush because the ball is too easy but I focus on my line and length and my variations.

The veteran all-rounder added that he always sticks to his plans and tries to use his angles and adds that he gets wickets because of variations on some pitches. He also mentioned that he tries to stay fit and focus on his rehab and diet and signed off by saying that he loves to play for his country.

So the economy rate is low. I always focus on my fitness. Trying to be fit and focus on rehab and diet. I love to play for Afghanistan. Thank You."

Afghanistan will play their next game against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium on 7th of November.
