Mohammad Amir, the 31-year-old Pakistani fast bowler who is no longer in the current national setup, breathed fire on Wednesday (December 6) in Match 23 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Playing for New York Strikers, the left-arm quick took as many as four wickets in an over without conceding a run against Chennai Braves. The first three were dismissed by Amir's bowling, while the fourth was a runout caused solely by him.

Amir’s first victim was Kobe Herft, who was run out in an unfortunate manner by Amir immediately after the latter completed his run-up. George Munsey, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, and Charith Asalanka followed him, with all three coming in the same fashion, nicking behind. Rahmanullah Gurbaz completed all three catches with big gloves, helping Amir celebrate an astonishing feat.

Amir did not stop there, and picked up another wicket in the following over, returning impressive figures of 4/7. It eventually helped him win the Player of the Match award, as Chennai Brave were restricted to 75/9, and New York Strikers saw off the target with five wickets and nine balls to spare.
